“Dark Around the Stars” film looks compelling but may be too painful (at least for me) to watch

The film, “Dark Around the Stars” was written by my old friend and colleague at Nashville State, Jim Janosky. The story line is about a man who is traveling across the country for one last hurrah before he plans to jump off the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge on his 40th birthday. In an incredibly tragic irony, Jim himself committed suicide after he began having serious health problems in 2011. In an even more tragic irony, the very morning he died, “Variety” ran a story announcing that the film had been sold and was going into production. I miss Jim. I wrote an essay about him in my Disposable Thoughts book coming out later this month. Here is the film trailer. http://www.imdb.com/video/screenplay/vi4227183641/
